Blackwing Deck Recipe for Yugioh 5D's Decade Duels for Xbox360

There are certain type of birds that are very useless when by themselves but together, they are a deadly flock that will swoop down and take all your bread, I mean life points, before you can even have your turn. This is the Blackwing deck recipe and tips on how to use the deck effectively for Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Decade Duels, and you can use them in tournaments in your area.

Here is the complete list that I use for my Blackwing Deck. It's just like Crow's deck but with bit of a tweak. Here you go;

The Blackwing deck is an agressive style deck because it's used for 'Swarming' or getting as much cards on the field fast. This strategy has its ups and downs.

• The Good: If you can get the right cards early, Gale, Shura, Vayu, Black Whirlwind, you're in great shape. There's so many combos with this deck you can make, almost making the deck limitless. Even if you don't get the right card you needed at that time, you can utilize every card to your advantage making it very versatile. Also, taking control of the game early is definitely a plus. Whether you're battling online or offline in Tournament mode, attacking early and gaining the upper hand is better and can be held in your grasp more effectively with the Blackwing deck and with Icarus Attack, the field is basically all yours.
• The Bad: Even with all the power of this deck at your disposal, there are some cards out there that can stop you. (1) Jinzo, this monster can negate all traps and destroy them. ATTK lvl is 2400 which is higher than your cards. If you able to get this card off the field quick by cutting it's attack in half thanks to one of your blackwing cards, do it. (2) Vortex, Torrential Tribute, and other magic cards that aim at your monsters can seriously effect you. Since your deck is based around the 'Swarm Method,' you will have all your monster spaces filled and most of your magic/trap space almost filled as well. By destroying all your monsters, you basically have nothing to back you up because you don't have much counter magic/trap cards.

Alright, now that you have the cards, it's time for the strategy. Far North blackwing card is useful because when you normal summon it, you are allowed to special summon a level four or lower monster. That means another monster in your hand you can put out on the field. It's the easiest way to get your monsters out quickly and start the destruction. Bora the Spear is especially useful and one of the stars of the deck because of his versatility. Think of this, you have a Blizzard and two Boras. You put out Blizzard and special summon one Bora. Since you have another Blackwing out on the field, you can special summon your other Bora! That's a combo. Also, in combat, if Bora attacks a defense position monster and it's attack is higher than the defense card attacked, the difference is subtracted from your opponent's life points. Can you say, Kaboom?

Gale the Whirlwind is needed because it's your Tuner. You want 3 of these because of your Synchro monsters. You need tuners in order to synchro summon. Kalut the Moon Shadow is good because if one of your Blackwind's attacks or is attacked, you can sacrifice this card to have that monster gain an extra 1400 attack and defense. You use this effect on Bora the Spear, Black Armed Wing, or Black Armed Master and you have a super-charged monster for one turn. Shura the Blue Flame Although not a "Blackwing" Tuner Monster, this monster can special summon a "Blackwing" monster with 1500 or less attack after it has destroyed an opponent's monster during the damage step. The monster you searched for effect is negated and Vayu will be able to Synchro Summon while on the field if summoned in this way even though Vayu is only able to synchro in the graveyard. When Vayu is in the graveyard due to the summon you have just done, here's the good thing, you get to do it again! Synchro summon another Armed Master, or Armed Wing, or even a Goyo Guardian to really give you the upper hand in a match.

Here's another combo. Summon Sirocco the Dawn, and special summon as many Bora the Spear you have. If you have Whirlwind on the field then that's definitely a plus. Activate Sirocco's effect, select 1 face-up "Blackwing" monster you control. It gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all face-up "Blackwing"monsters on the field except itself. Monsters other than the selected monster cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. and add all the attack of the Bora's, Sirocco's and anything else onto one of the Bora's you have. Attack a defense position monster for piercing damage or attack a monster or directly for a massive blow. This combo is even better with Gale's effect by cutting a monster's ATTK and DEF in half.

These are just SOME of the many combos that can be done. You can interchangeably utilize each card with another and form your own combos to be even better than some of them that are listed! Out of all the matches I used the Blackwing deck, my win/loss ratio is 30/12. Tame the Birds, Tame the Game.

So the Swarm Method isn't your style of play and you need something better that can really hone your skills. You don't have time to put out monsters, you just want end your opponent with swiftness and deal massive damage simultaneously.
